Cox Communications was looking for an opportunity to connect with American fans before, during and after the game. By tapping into the insight that consumers engage and connect primarily on their phones and desire personalization and co-creation, we developed a sharable Instagram filter allowing fans to show their fandom for MLB, NHL or NFL teams.

With the Cox beabobble filter fans imposed their face onto a customized player body frame, selected from one of three poses and chose to record a video, or take a static image of themselves and immediately share on social media.

This gave Cox earned media with the sharable nature of filters and established them as a brand that understands what is relevant and topical for fans. The filter was promoted with an influencer program.
